After sitting on the waiting list for a few months, I just got my invitation to join Ravelry. It's a web community where you can keep track of the details about your knitting and crochet projects, organize your stash and needles, and quickly find others who have worked the same pattern. Check it out! I am in the system as "battlemaiden2," leaving the prestigious title "battlemaiden1" available for you if you want it (you've been knitting longer than me, so you get to be the skipper and I'm your lowly second mate).
Ravelry is no substitute for our lovely, oft-neglected little blog here, but it seems like a good techie way to stay organized. My knitting tools consist of random notebooks and snippets of yarn and baskets of skeins and Ball jars filled with needles strewn all around the house, so I'm looking forward to imposing some semblance of order on my chaos.
